Week of November 17th

We have a busy week this week!

Picture retakes are on Thursday

We will show our Safe Environment Video on Wednesday afternoon

This week in...

Reading:  Mimicry and Camouflage test is Tuesday.  Wednesday we will start Emerald's Eggs.  There will be no test but we will be working on an Extended Response that will take us to next week Tuesday

Spelling:  Lesson 12.  Workbook due Thursday, Test and Menu due on Friday

Religion:  We will continue our Ten Commandment Project

4th LA:  Possessive nouns and abbreviations.  Quiz on Friday

5th LA:  They are working on their expository diocesan writing piece.

4th SS:  We will finish up Chapter 6 this week.  Vocab due on Tuesday.  We will have a test next week on Tuesday.  If you know your child will not be here please email Miss Winter so arrangements can be made for a make-up

5th SS:  We will finish up Chapter 5 this week and have a review game on Friday.  Vocab due on Monday. We will have a test next week Monday and Tuesday.  If you know your child will not be here please email Miss Winter so arrangements can be made for a make-up

We will go to the school book fair on FRIDAY of this week.  You can also preview and buy online if you would like by:

1.   Log onto www.ABCfairs.com

2.   Enter a title you are looking for or click on Shop our Categories

3.   Once everything is in your shopping cart click on Find My School (top of page)

4.   Find your school – listed in alphabetical order.

5.   Copy your schools name and click on view my shopping cart.

6.   Paste your school name into the COUPON CODE box and click Apply to order. In the middle of the screen there will be a note…
”Your school will receive 20% of your purchase”.

7.   Click on checkout and proceed to set up a user id/password

Week of November 3

Good Morning!

Sorry this post is a tad late!

In reading we are presenting our Seymour Simon research papers and posters.  This is a very informal presentation and we have talked a lot about it!  You will be able to see all of our hard work because it will be out in the hall for conferences!  Next week we will get back to a normal reading schedule

In religion we are going to finish the week by talking about Vocations.  Next week we are going to start our big Ten Commandments project :)

Spelling is lesson 10

4th SS:  We finished our tour of the Northeast!  Our letter, scrapbook pages, and their note taking packet will be due on Wednesday, November 12th.                                                                                                   ALL STUDENTS MUST BRING BACK THEIR TEXTBOOK THURSDAY!!!!
