Weekend Homework

Just a quick note!

We had such a great Halloween Party today! The baby picture game was very fun! A special thank you to all of the parents that helped or sent something :)

The only homework this weekend is PB 3.3 in Math and it is due on Tuesday but maybe we should do that over the weekend.... Also they can work on their Northeast Scrapbook pages for Social Studies.  We still have one more stop for the letter but they could pick 2 places right now to write about and then see if Washington DC would be their 3rd favorite place on Monday.

Also in the Friday Folders is a form regarding the safe environment curriculum that we will be discussing next week. The form on the bottom only needs to be returned if you DO NOT want your child to participate.  If you are allowing your child to participate then nothing needs to be sent back.

Thank you and have a nice Halloweem weekend!!
Miss Winter's dog Lucy is a princess for Halloween- doesn't she look thrilled?!?

Week of October 14th

Welcome back 4th Grade Families!

But wow what a busy day we had today!

The students will be having a quiz in gym next week- Monday.  Mr. Baldwin has an online Quizlet that the students can use to study.  Here is the link:  Basketball Quizlet

Also the students can bring in a dollar donation for the Catholic Education Fund for an out of uniform day this Friday!  Maybe they can do an extra chore around the house to earn it?

And finally it is with great sadness that we tell you that JFK, one of our Hermit Crabs, has passed away.  We are not sure of the cause but he was definitely a great member of our class.  Father John came in this morning to say a few words about creation and losing a pet.  Abraham Lincoln, the other one, seems to be doing well even though he lost his friend.  RIP JFK!

This week in...

Reading:  We are going to finish our Chicago Fire Extended Responses and read Cyber Pigs.  We do not want to rush anything so we will have our Cyber Pigs test next Monday.  Vocab will still be due on Thursday, like normal.
