Yearbooks

If any student would like to bring their yearbook tomorrow to have classmates sign them that would be great!  We will have some time tomorrow :)

Week of May 26th

Good Afternoon!

We had such a great time playing kickball this morning at the park!  The students were wonderful and great :)  Thanks for getting in the permission slips and money for that- we are looking froward to ice cream on Thursday afternoon!

Also we have 1 more permission slip that needs to be returned by Friday- it is for field day, no money is needed- thanks!

This week in...

Reading:  we will finish Edward Tulane on Thursday- no more quizzes

Spelling:  Lesson 36 due Friday and test Friday

4th SS:  West tour projects are due tomorrow.  Also if you didn't get a 1 inch binder in yet I am still taking them to put their whole tour into.  The latest I need them is by Friday.

The rest of the subjects are catch-up/fun activities.

4th Grade Excursions

Dear Parents,

Today a permission form will be coming home for next week.  We would like to do some fun activities next week as a grade level.  Please return ASAP!

Also, the students know, that they may be left out of these fun activities if we have any problems with behavior.  We are ALL reminding them that we still have a week left of school with tests and quizzes still next week that are being graded!

A quick reminder from home may be helpful as well :)

Religion: Chapter 9

4th LA: Adverbs

5th LA: Prepositions

4th SS:  We will finish our west tour this week.  Letters and Scrapbook Pages will be due Wednesday, May 28th

5th SS: Chapter 14- we will have a test late next week- study guides will go home soon

Spanish Assignment

Good Morning!

Today the students worked on writing paragraphs, in Spanish, about themselves.  A lot of them finished but if they didn't this is something that they need to complete by next Thursday.  They should also read their paragraph to someone at home to practice since they will be reading these out loud.  It is also awesome to hear them read and speak in Spanish- some of them have excellent pronunciations!

Week of May 12

Happy Mother's Day!  We hope everyone had a fun and relaxing weekend :)

We have a band concert today during school and there is one this evening at 6:30.  Good luck to our band students, they will be great!

Please check the lost and found- all items will be donated on Thursday if they are not claimed.  We will try to have the students look at lunch.

**Also if you have any textbooks at home can you please send them back with your student.  We need to count for next year- thank you!

This week in...

Reading:  We are DONE with our textbook!  We will be starting our 4th grade class novel and that will take us through the end of the year.  There will be a packet that will be associated with the novel and that will be the only homework.  Also there is vocabulary in the packet as well, this is what they will be tested on.  We will keep everyone updated.

Spelling:  Lesson 34

Religion:  Finish Chapter 8 and begin Chapter 9

4th LA:  Quiz tomorrow on pronouns.  The rest of the week will be spent organizing writing portfolios

5th LA: Organizing writing portfolios

4th SS:  West region tour

5th SS:  Chapter 13- quick study and we will begin Chapter 14 by Thursday- The Civil War

Good Afternoon,

This week will be a different schedule then what we are use to.  We will try to update each day with reminders of what will be each week... especially VIP shirts or not!

Also May Crowning will take place on Wednesday at 8:15.

This week in...

Reading:  We will read Jon Muir this week.  No vocab or test will be given this week.

Spelling:  Lesson 33, compound words.  Our test will still be on Friday

Religion:  Chapter 8

Language Arts and Social Studies will be very light this week.
