Tomorrow morning at 8:30 we will have a rosary for Peter. All are invited- some of our 4th and 5th grade students will lead the rosary as well- could you please remind your student (if they have a part) to come into the building right away tomorrow and meet in Mrs. Stillo's room to practice one more time.
Please wear school uniforms tomorrow.
We will dismiss at 10:00.
Thank you to all who helped with field day today- it was a success! Coach Josh was way fun!! Our 4th grade cheer tied with first grade for first place!! Yay!! We even had to have a cheer-off- very intense competition :)
We will see everyone tomorrow!

Ice Cream and a Turtle....
Good Afternoon!
Last week!
Just a reminder to please send $2.25 with your child for ice cream tomorrow- the order was taken and sent!
Also if any 4th grader would like to take Shelly (Mrs. Stillo's class turtle) home over the summer that would be awesome! A parent will need to send a note to school saying that it is okay. Mrs. Stillo will put all notes she receives in a box and draw one out and that will be the taker of Shelly for the summer. She is the nicest turtle and loves strawberries, but Mrs. Stillo will tell you all about her- very easy to take care of and a temporary pet for your family!
Thanks!!

Week of May 6th
Good Afternoon!
We had a band rehearsal today and a band concert so we just want to make sure that our band students know the social studies homework:
Chapter 11 review on loose leaf paper- all vocab, people and terms, and facts and main ideas- answers only
Tomorrow they will have a 10 question Ch 11 Test- 7 matching and 3 multiple choice. The seven matching terms are: hogan, Kit Carson, Long Walk, missionary, Chisholm Trail, homestead, and aqueduct
There will be one multiple choice from lesson 1, one from lesson 2, and 1 from lesson 3
Also....
Spelling: Lesson 32
Reading: We began our class novel! We are asking students to NOT read ahead! This book takes you on a beautiful journey and we do not want it ruined for anyone- all reading will be done in class. Any homework will be in their packets.
Math and Science: See 5th grade blog
Social Studies: After our ch 11 test we will go back to a "normal" routine for the West- back to quizzes and chapter tests- we should get through Ch 12 Lesson 1 and possible start lesson 2 this week.
